Lanthia Resort

   Hotel

Central Sardinia  |  Santa Maria Navarrese

28 rooms

In the charming town of Santa Maria Navarrese, the Lanthia Resort has a backdrop of mountains and the unspoilt Ogliastra countryside.

Additional special offer

  • All our guests will also receive a welcome drink, two bottles of water and a bottle of white wine with fresh seasonal fruit in their room on arrival.

The local granite façade of the hotel ensures that it sits unobtrusively in its surroundings. Decorated in white and neutral tones with splashes of colour provided by works of art and hand-woven linens, the hotel beautifully mixes style with comfort. Each of the 28 rooms has been given the name of a Sardinian town with a sample of its traditional textiles, as well as a lovely image, adorning the walls.

Set in a spacious lawned garden, paths lead you past palm trees, colourful bougainvillea bushes and deciduous and evergreen trees to the swimming pool. The azure waters of the Mediterranean are just a couple of minutes stroll away (through a short tunnel under the road and via a small wooded area), where the hotel has its own secluded beach with sunloungers and parasols. In this area there is a beautiful gazebo facing the sea where you can have massages or other treatments. Moreover, in this area facing the sea there is a new beach bar where guests can eat lunch and have drinks.

The Lanthia Resort is the perfect place to relax and unwind, and it would make a great choice when touring the island. With the mountains of Gennargentu and Golfo di Orosei National Park just a short drive away, it’s also well suited to a hiking holiday. One thing not to be missed though is a boat excursion from the town’s harbour to discover some of Sardinia’s best beaches and the beautiful cave system of the Grotta del Fico, which are easiest to reach by sea.

Inland, there are many things to discover including the Gorruppu Gorge, one of the longest canyons in Europe or the Fico Caves which at 7m above sea level are an important breeding ground for the Monk Seal.
