Found in the picturesque village of Isola Rossa, The Hotel Relax Torreruja Thalasso & Spa is the perfect place to unwind. Not far from the little shops and the promenade of the village, the area is home to a small red granite port, the Aragonese tower, and some excellent beaches.

Close to the hotel you can find the fine sandy beaches of Longa and Nuova with the unspoilt public beach of Marinedda just 800m away. There are many secluded bays and rocky areas along the coastline, perfect for snorkelling, discovering red corals and a variety of sealife in the crystal clear waters.

The hotel's pool is large with plenty of sunbeds, meanwhile 'Venere' the hotel's Spa centre, is the perfect place to escape with excellent thalassotherapy pools and a range of treatments to indulge.

Dinner is an elegant affair with a rich Mediterranean buffet and show cooking as the sun sets, or reserve a table at Restaurant Sotto le Stelle (translates to 'Under the Stars') enjoying exclusive table service and incredible views. Evenings remain at ease with a piano bar by the pool, serving various drinks in to the evening, or head in to the village to experience some local live music at the bars.

The hotel also offers a range of self-catering villas, which also have access to the facilities of the hotel, perfect for large groups of friends or families. Villa Romansinu, Villa Canneddi, Villa AsinaraVilla Le Pleiadi and Villa Tinnari are available with their own private pool.

One large sea-water pool plus heated sea-water Thalasso pools in the spa centre (payable locally) two restaurants - buffet breakfast and evening meal served at 'Tramonto Rosso'. 'Sotto le ctelle' restaurant is open three nights per week and offers table service dining at a supplement - two bars, live evening music. 

Outdoor fitness area, free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms and public areas plus free private car parks with two charging stations for electric vehicles (payable locally).

External services payable locally: babysitting service on reservation, tennis courts and five-a-side football pitch (150m away), diving, pedalo rental and rubber dinghy hire.

About the Local Area

ABOUT AREA

Isola Rossa is a small and friendly resort on the north coast of Sardinia between unspoilt mountains and rocky headlands. Once an attractive fishing village, it is now a lively small resort with two very good sandy beaches, plenty in the way of shops, bars and restaurants, and good access to the mountain countryside of the northern interior.

BEACHES

Isola Rossa
On the outskirts of the resort, the beach has beautiful white sands and turquoise waters with plenty of sunloungers and parasols for hire.

Santa Teresa
Enjoy stunning views of the straits of Bonifacio over the transparent turquoise sea as you head to the dramatic headland of Capo Testa to the west of Santa Teresa. The nearby bay of Santa Reparata has some delightful stretches of beach.
