Modern white furnishings and shades of pale blue provide a light and airy seaside ambience within the spacious reception areas which open out onto sunny terraces and a pool area from which there is ample seating to admire the sea view. All the bedrooms are comfortably furnished and each has a balcony overlooking the sea, beach or village. High quality and beautifully presented cuisine is available from the hotel’s two main restaurants, (see facilities in hotel section) with views across the beach. Menu options include local specialities and freshly caught fish which are highly recommended, along with a sumptuous choice of international cuisine. Snacks and drinks are also available from the hotel’s adjacent beach bar.

A short pathway leads to a private area of the beach, equipped with sunbeds and parasols and for the active there’s a number of water sports and boat excursions close to hand. The town is just a few minutes stroll away making this hotel an excellent base for both couples and families seeking accommodation right by the beach with a range of facilities on the doorstep and within walking distance of bars, shops and restaurants.

About the Local Area

ABOUT AREA

With access to 15 beautiful beaches, Golfo Aranci is a quaint seaside resort with a charming port. The town has a few local amenities such as shops, bars and restaurants, as well as many entertaining evening events and summer festivities. The best restaurants are near the port and serve fresh fish as well as classic pizzas.

BEACHES

Cala Sássari
Just south of Golfo Aranci, Cala Sássari consists of several small coves with crystal clear waters and golden sand.

Capriccioli
The Capriccioli headland has five beautiful small sandy beaches. There are facilities for boat hire and also a bar close to the beach. These beaches, including La Celvia, are amongst the most popular in the area.

Cala di Volpe
A beautiful sweep of white sand with a number of water sports available for hire.

Tanca Manna
Tanca Manna sits approximately 250 metres from the road behind a saltwater lake. It has a great stretch of sand and plenty of facilities for families. A kilometre beyond Tanca Manna is Barca Bruciata, a small sandy beach which is quiet with no facilities.

THINGS TO SEE & DO

Porto Cervo
An up-market town and centre of indulgence, it is located around two yacht harbours on the north side of this dazzling stretch of coastline, and being the main resort of the area and a paradise for the jet-set, it’s definitely worth a visit.

Prehistoric Sites at Arzachena
Visit the prehistoric remains including the Albucciu Nuraghe – a bronze age tower, the Tomba dei Giganti Coddu Vecchiu and the Li Muri Necropolis, scattered around the town.

Inland Gallura
Explore by car or on foot the dramatic mountains of the interior, the rugged countryside and the small character towns and villages. Alternatively, leave your car in Palau and take the stream train to Tempio Pausania, a spectacular journey across the Galluran countryside.

Agriturismo
Sample traditional Sardinian cuisine in a farm restaurant. Amongst others, we recommend the Agriturismi Tenuta Pilastru, la Sasima, la Somara and La Colti, all located near Arzachena.

Watersports
Discover the exquisite coastline from the sea and enjoy the excellent conditions of the north east coast for wind-surfing, sailing, diving, snorkelling, etc.
