Gatwick is 28 miles (45km) south of London, linked directly to the M23 at Junction 9 and to the A23 London-Brighton road.

The M25 London orbital motorway is a ten-minute drive away (Junction 7), providing connections to the national road and motorway network.

London Heathrow is the largest UK airport and being a major gateway to many worldwide destinations it’s also the busiest.

Transport Information

Heathrow is probably the most accessible airport in terms of different modes of transport - travel by car, motorcycle, train, bus, coach and even bicycle. Motorcyclists can park in dedicated motorbike parks free of charge and there is a network of cycle paths with signage allowing easy access for cyclists also.

Heathrow Help Bus

Passengers with reduced mobility can take advantage of a free wheelchair-accessible service running transportation between the bus station and all of the terminals. There are Help Point telephones or Help Bus telephones located in the terminal to arrange assistance.

Help Point Telephones

The Help Point telephones are available to request use of a wheelchair or assistance in and around the airport grounds. The telephones are located in the short stay car parks, outside the terminal entrances and within the baggage reclaim area.

London Stansted

Several low cost airlines have made London Stansted Airport their base, being the third largest airport in Britain.

Transport Information

With the airport’s train station located directly underneath the terminal and the coach station opposite the main terminal entrance, Stansted is a very accessible airport. The airport is well served by several bus and coach services in addition to various train services such as the Stansted Express, which runs every 15 minutes to London. It is also conveniently situated just off the M11 providing good road links for those travelling by car.

London Luton Airport 

Luton Airport is an international airport, 1.5 miles from the town centre and 28 miles north of Central London.

Transport Information

With the airport’s car park located directly next to the terminal, Luton is a very accessible airport. The airport is well served by trains from Central London, you can hop on a frequent direct train to Luton Airport Parkway from Blackfriars, City Thameslink, Farringdon and St Pancras International. You can be at the airport in as little as 24 minutes from Central London. Once arriving at Luton Airport Parkway there is a quick 10-minute shuttle bus to the terminal.

These include Long Stay and Short Stay car parks as well as a Rapid Pick Up car park, which is adjacent to the terminal, and motorcycle parking, which is available FREE in a dedicated motorcycle park.
