Flight Requests & Baggage Information

For flight requests, Club Class upgrades on British Airways or questions regarding baggage and hand luggage, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Flight Requests

Specific dietary requirements including requests for vegetarian, gluten free or children's meals should be passed on to us either at the time of booking or as soon as possible afterwards. We regret however that requests, as always, are not guaranteed.

Seating is arranged by the airline at check-in and requests for specific seats cannot normally be made.

Please advise us if you have a mobility problem and need special transport at the airport or if you need any assistance during the flight itself. If a member of your party is over 26 weeks pregnant on your return flight it is advisable to have a Doctor's Fit to Fly certificate.

Please note that some requests may affect where the airline seats you on the aircraft.

Children and Infants

Infants aged under 2 years on the date of return are not allocated a seat by the airline and must be seated on a parents lap whenever the seatbelt signs are illuminated. Children over two are allocated an airline seat. Should parents wish for a seat for infants aged under 2, an extra seat can be purchased. Please call us for full information.

Baggage Information

Key security points to remember when travelling from UK Airports:

The maximum size for items of hand luggage is 56cm x 45cm x 25cm per bag. However, airlines apply their own operational policies governing the number of items of hand baggage which may be taken in to the aircraft cabin.

Where possible, put all liquid items in your hold baggage. This includes water and other drinks, creams, sprays, pastes and gels.

Liquids, gels and aerosols are only allowed in individual containers of 100ml. All containers must fit comfortably in one, transparent, re-sealable bag no larger than 20cm x 20cm (eg a freezer bag).

Requirements can vary slightly depending on the airport.

Baggage Allowance

Airlines have also become very strict about baggage allowance owing to the high number of requests they receive and will now only consider limited requests from registered charities.

If you are carrying more than your allocated amount you will have to pay an excess baggage charge (typically £10 per extra kilo) at check-in and we cannot guarantee that the airline will accept all your baggage.

If you are unable to carry items in your usual baggage allowance, we recommend you call our administration department on +44 1489 866935 who will be happy to advise you.
