Surrounded by beautiful countryside, Country Resort Parco Degli Ulivi is the perfect spot for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Priding itself on its natural setting and its restaurant serving locally sourced ingredients, this country resort will take you on a sensory journey of northern Sardinia.

Surrounded by granite rocks and the distinguishable maquis of the island, the hotel building itself is styled in keeping with ‘stazzo gallurese’ (the local countryside houses of the last century), with stone walls and in the hotel lobby, a large traditional Sardinian fireplace. With just 32 rooms, this hotel oozes tranquillity and a sense of indulgence, each room is surrounded by rich vegetation, and you are guaranteed a peaceful night’s sleep, with privacy and comfort. Each room is decorated with a traditional style, in keeping with the surroundings, with tiled floors, wooden furniture and bathrooms with bright pops of coloured tiles, giving a distinctly Mediterranean feel.

The on-site restaurant boasts a covered veranda with panoramic windows and an outdoor terrace. Meals are prepared with vegetables and aromatic herbs from the hotel’s garden. Another great draw to the hotel restaurant is the wine cellar, a charming space with a wide choice of regional, national, and international wines to choose from. The large pool area, overlooks the restaurant terrace with magnificent views out to the countryside and the hills beyond, creating the perfect place to relax for the day. There is a dedicated area for children, making it a lovely spot for a tranquil family break, while adults can enjoy the outdoor Jacuzzi. The sundeck is equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, and sofas.

The closest beach is Tanca Manna, a fantastic beach with a long stretch of sand and sunloungers. There are other great beaches in the Cannigione area to explore too. There are plenty of activities and sports to try whilst staying in the area.

About the Local Area

ABOUT AREA

Set inland from the coast, Arzachena is a bustling market town with plenty of shops and services available. At the centre of town lies the Piazza Risorgimeto, a lively square surrounded by restaurants and bars. The area offers several hidden treasures including mysterious nuraghe (stone towers) ruins and giant tombs, arguably the best of their kind in Sardinia as well as some of the most attractive beaches.

BEACHES

Tanca Manna
Tanca Manna sits approximately 250 metres from the road behind a saltwater lake. It has a great stretch of sand and plenty of facilities for families. A kilometre beyond Tanca Manna is Barca Bruciata, a small sandy beach which is quiet with no facilities.

Cala Capra
Cala Capra beach just beyond Golfo delle Saline is a pretty sandy bay tucked beneath the impressive Capo D’Orso headland with its distinctive bear shaped weathered rock.

Capriccioli
The Capriccioli headland has five beautiful small sandy beaches. There are facilities for boat hire and also a bar close to the beach. These beaches, including La Celvia, are amongst the most popular in the area.

Spiaggia del Principe
Rather off the beaten track is the Spiaggia del Principe which cannot be reached by car. The last stretch has to be done on foot takes under 10 minutes and is well worth the effort.
