A tranquil escape, commanding stunning views of the surrounding 89-acre Padula Saloni nature reserve, this unique retreat is bound to delight all who stay.

Cascioni Eco Retreat is located in Gallura, offering a serene parkland and olive groves. The property has an outdoor swimming pool, wellness centre and a contemporary gym. With breathtaking nature trails and plenty to explore in the area, each night you return to your immaculate suite, complete with its own private pool and garden.

The Half Board supplement includes a delicious lunch or dinner per person, per day at Ulia Restaurant with a refreshing three-course menu. As well as the restaurant at the retreat, guests are encouraged to visit the hotel's three nearby restaurants, Cutter Lounge & Restaurant, on the beach of Cannigione, La Colti Farmhouse and MiraLuna, at Aethos Sardinia with shuttle transport provided. The property also provides a free shuttle bus service to popular locations such as the nearby beach and San Pantaleo town.

Incredible experiences can be arranged locally including helicopter rides and candlelit private dinners among the olive trees. Try the traditional wines and olive oils in tasting sessions or yoga and pilates sessions in the park. You can even 'adopt an olive tree' which provides a customised wooden plate denoting the ownership of your very own Sardinian olive tree!

This is a truly spectacular Sardinian gem, not to be missed.

About the Local Area

Set inland from the coast, Arzachena is a bustling market town with plenty of shops and services available. At the centre of town lies the Piazza Risorgimeto, a lively square surrounded by restaurants and bars. The area offers several hidden treasures including mysterious nuraghe (stone towers) ruins and giant tombs, arguably the best of their kind in Sardinia as well as some of the most attractive beaches.

Tanca Manna
Tanca Manna sits approximately 250 metres from the road behind a saltwater lake. It has a great stretch of sand and plenty of facilities for families. A kilometre beyond Tanca Manna is Barca Bruciata, a small sandy beach which is quiet with no facilities.

Cala Capra
Cala Capra beach just beyond Golfo delle Saline is a pretty sandy bay tucked beneath the impressive Capo D’Orso headland with its distinctive bear shaped weathered rock.

The Capriccioli headland has five beautiful small sandy beaches. There are facilities for boat hire and also a bar close to the beach. These beaches, including La Celvia, are amongst the most popular in the area.

Spiaggia del Principe
Rather off the beaten track is the Spiaggia del Principe which cannot be reached by car. The last stretch has to be done on foot takes under 10 minutes and is well worth the effort.

Pevero Golf Course
Considered amongst the best in Europe, Pevero is an 18-hole course located near Capriccioli. The course is prized for its beauty with natural ponds amidst the rocks, fragrant juniper, myrtle and arbutus trees and stunning sea views.

Explore by car or on foot the dramatic mountains of the interior, the rugged countryside and the small character towns and villages. Alternatively, leave your car in Palau and take the stream train to Tempio Pausania, a spectacular journey across the Galluran countryside.

Sample traditional Sardinian cuisine in a farm restaurant. Amongst others, we recommend the Agriturismi Tenuta Pilastru, la Sasima or la Somara, all located near Arzachena.
