Overlooking the Marine Protected Area of Asinara Island National Park, Capo Falcone Charming Apartments offer modern accommodation in a stunning area.

Capo Falcone is a complex of 56 properties built in 2020 with a welcoming contemporary design, apartments are split into five groups and surrounded by verdant gardens. Just a few hundred meters away is the magnificent beach of La Pelosa, its pristine white sands and turquoise waters are sure to draw you in. 

Each villa on the complex is perfectly built, with a modern design, each apartment is akin to a small villa. Inside, beautiful white walls and furnishings give each apartment a luxurious feel, with sleek lines and a modern Mediterranean feel. Each bathroom is spacious with wooden finishes and a modern suite.

A shared swimming pool is available on the complex, as well as a children’s playground and barbecue area available to all guests. Within walking distance to the complex are a few cafés and restaurants to enjoy. For those looking for some activities to take part in during their stay, there is some brilliant diving and trekking to be enjoyed, as well as kite surfing and windsurfing or even boat trips.

The charming town of Stintino is just 4km away so a car is recommended when staying at Capo Falcone Apartments. Once an ancient fishing village, Stintino is now known for its old, picturesque marina, its new harbour surrounded by restaurants and a wonderful, colourful night market. An impressive backdrop of rugged land stretching between two seas, with high and rugged cliffs and contrasting sand and pebble coves. Nearby beaches of La Pelosa, Il Gabbiano and La Pelosetta feature beach umbrellas and sunlounger rental.

About the Local Area

ABOUT AREA

The small, laid-back town of Stintino is situated 50km north of Alghero. This outstanding area arguably has the best beach in Sardinia, Pelosa, and enjoys a fantastic panorama across the unspoilt and protected island of Asinara. The town itself is spread around two harbours and offers a few bars and restaurants specialising in fresh seafood.

BEACHES

Pelosa
Pelosa beach is by far the most popular beach in the north with its dazzling white sands and crystal clear waters. The beach is well protected by the island of Piana which provides a truly enjoyable view from the idyllic sands.

Porto Ferro
Beyond the headland of Capo Caccia there is a lovely long beach at Porto Ferro.

FESTIVALS

Our Lady of Valverde - Alghero - Easter
Celebrated every year on the first Sunday after Easter. Devotees from all over the region flock to Alghero to take part in various traditional rituals, the most important of which is a pilgrimage to the magnificent 16th-century sanctuary dedicated to the Saint.

Festival Alguer and its Journeys - Alghero – April-June
The spring edition of the successful Festival Alguer, consisting of a series of concerts, literary meetings, exhibitions and other cultural events.

Calvalcata Sarda - Sassari - May
A colourful celebration of Sardinian culture with people from all over the island coming together. The town comes alive with colourful decorations, costumes, horse shows, poetry competitions, chants and traditional dances.

Festival Alguer - The Anfiteatro Maria Pia and The Forte della Maddalena in Alghero – June - September
A summer-long festival of culture including jazz, musicals, theatre and much more which is held at two of Alghero’s historical venues.

THINGS TO SEE & DO

Diving
The crystal clear waters of La Pelosa and the islands are ideal for diving. There are a number of diving schools and hire centres.

Piana and Asinara
In the summer months, regular boat trips depart from Stintino to the islands of Piana and Asinara where you can take in various features of the coastline.

Grotte di Nettuno
Take a boat trip to the Grotte di Nettuno, outstanding sea caves below a sheer cliff face. Accessible by boat, trips depart regularly from Alghero's port and the return journey takes approximately two and a half hours.

Vineyards of Sella and Mosca
The vineyard of Sella and Mosca makes an interesting afternoon's visit. Guided tours are available daily followed by wine tasting.

Archeological sites
Visit some of the important archeological sites, both near Alghero and further inland, including the Nuraghe di Palmavera and the impressive prehistoric necropolis of Anghelu Ruju.
