1. The beauty of the beach and the surrounding coastline at Liscia Ruia, a calm and tranquil bay, a long arc of pale, fine sand and crystal-clear water.

 

2. The dramatic and intriguing beach coves at Cala Luna, located on the east coast of the island, the sheer rock faces are certainly not to be missed.

4. The Basilica of Santissima Trinita di Saccargia. This unique-looking church creates a striking skyline, with white and black brickwork and a lush green landscape to surround it.

 

5. Castelsardo, this wonderful hilltop town boasts quaint cobbled streets and plenty of charming viewpoints in which to stare down at the azure waters below. Make sure to enjoy a meal at one of the little restaurants here too. Castelsardo is also featured in the backdrop of one of Little Mermaid's famous scenes!

6. Cala dei Gabbiani. A little-known beach, but one that is truly remarkable! Beautiful white sands and crystal-clear waters in shades of green.  

 

7. Bear's Rock at Palau. This awesome formation is certainly not to be missed, drive up the road where you will see ample places to park up and walk to this formationm offering fantastic views too.

8. The plush, green, mountainous interior.

 

9. San Pantaleo, Costa Smeralda. This quaint village comes alive in the summer months, with colourful shrubs, a daily market and alluring café culture.
