Delve deeper into the beauty that is Sardinia and read more about three wonderful hotels available to book for your next Sardinian adventure!

We are proud of our wide range of properties available to our customers, with everything ranging from cosy boltholes to large and spacious villas, simple hotels or 5-star luxury. There is a property for everyone, Michelle from the sales team has picked out three properties that stood out for her on her recent visit.

Resort Valle Dell’Erica Thalasso & Spa

This is a stunning hotel in the north of the island near Porto Pozzo and not too far from Santa Teresa Gallura, the port to catch the ferry over to Corsica, so a great spot for a twin-centre holiday.

Resort Valle Dell’Erica Thalasso & Spa has something for everyone, the rooms are varied in choice – with 17 different categories! There are seven restaurants to choose from (three are included on half board, while others you must pay a supplement), five bars and seven stunning bays. The hotel is large, providing a feeling of being tucked away from the world, despite the size you will feel a great sense of privacy and tranquillity during your stay.

The hotel caters to families with a fantastic children’s club and even a teen club, where teens can take part in kayaking snorkelling and camping for a night! There are plenty of options for things to do each day, such as a trip to La Maddalena Archipelago, just 10 minutes by boat, or take a short 50-minute hop on the ferry and you will be in Bonifacio, the perfect place for a day trip and to have a taste of Corsica. Read about scuba diving in the Maddalena Archipelago in our blog.

Gabbiano Azzurro Hotel and Suites

This hotel is a real gem! Nestled in Golfo Aranci on the Costa Smeralda with a stunning beach, the shallow waters make it the perfect spot for children to play. The crystal-clear waters make a perfect position for this hotel, providing an exclusive, seaside feel.

As one of the region's first hotels a highlight is the long-standing staff, they are an asset to the hotel and always provide guests with a warm welcome. The family-owned hotel has a modern finish with white furniture and shades of blue, further enhancing the seaside vibe. You can choose between a village or sea view room, both are splendid, but our experts recommend the sea view rooms where you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the bay.

If you have a car and wish to explore further, there are plenty of wonderful beaches in the area, and quaint villages and towns to explore in the Costa Smeralda area. Such as Arzachena, find out more about this charming town in our blog.

Hotel Su Gologone

Hotel Su Gologone is a unique hotel, with a cosy vibe, hidden away in the central Sardinian countryside, you will feel like you are the only person on the island! The hotel is packed with character and can only be described as a grown-up fairy tale. There are lots of hidden little areas that will charm you, from intimate seating areas to quaint eating areas under willow trees. There is something for everyone at the hotel, from relaxing by the pool, walking in the beautiful countryside, learning crafts at an on-site workshop with stunning views, or enjoying a cocktail on one of the many small terraces.

This hotel would be perfect for a twin or multi-centre holiday and is perfect for couples celebrating a special occasion, it is something special and not to be missed.
