Sardinia will host the Louis Vuitton Trophy La Maddalena later this month, attracting some of the world’s best sailors. Ten of the top international teams will be heading to the island to compete between 22nd May and 6th June. Teams include the Emirates Team New Zealand, America’s Cup winners BMW ORACLE Racing, Mascalzone Latino Audi Team, Azzurra and Luna Rossa.
La Maddalena is preparing to host the event with sailing fans arriving from around the world. La Maddalena is a small town on an island of the same name just off the North East coast of Sardinia.
