The pound has increased in strength against the euro in the past couple of weeks and is now higher than at any point this year, meaning your money will go further when on holiday in Sardinia.

The pound was worth 1.1758 euros earlier today and when trading closed yesterday it was worth 1.1672. Recent negotiations with property owners also mean many holidays have been reduced in price – a two-bedroom apartment sleeping four now starts from £674 for a week, that’s just £168.50 per person.
