"However, when I returned earlier this year I was delighted that Sardinia remains largely unspoilt and it was clear why my family returned so many times: the wonderful sandy beaches and rocky coastline, the rugged interior, friendly welcoming people and fabulous Sardinian food – few places in the Med have so much to offer.”
"Travelling to Sardinia is certainly much easier now than in the 70s and with so many direct flight options and the possibility of twin centre holidays with Corsica, we believe it is better for us to provide the accommodation and leave you to arrange the travel; although we can also assist with this if you’d prefer. I would however, definitely recommend hiring a car whilst holidaying in Sardinia, it is difficult to discover the true beauty and diversity of the island without – and because of the island’s relatively small size you can explore a good deal of it in a surprisingly short space of time.”
"As you will have noticed the Voyages Ilena name has been changed to Sardinian Places to sit alongside our other brochure Corsican Places which also features handpicked individual properties: private villas with pools, simple apartments and luxurious hotels to name just a few. You can rest assured the quality of holidays and service remains though and hopefully you’ll agree has improved. This year we’ve been working hard to train staff and most of our sales team has visited the island along with our product manager, contractor and other members of staff. We have added 15 properties to our programme and all have new photographs as well as improved descriptions to give you a better flavour of what to expect.”
"We look forward to welcoming you to Sardinia and value any feedback on our new brochure.”
