Positioned on the hillside of the Costa del Sud, Casetta Maria is a small house with views across the Mediterranean and in a convenient location for a beach holiday: it is only a few steps away from a secluded sandy bay lapped by beautifully clear water. The house itself is set in its own garden with an array of trees, flowers and plants giving the property a sense of privacy despite being in a residential area, and providing a welcome retreat for those who wish to escape the sun and the beach for a time. The covered terraces at the front and rear of the property provide an ideal setting for al fresco dining with comfortable sunloungers, a dining suite and a built-in barbecue. Inside, Casetta Maria is simple and practically designed and would ideally suit a couple or a small family looking for a base from which to explore Southern Sardinia. The bustling town of Pula is a 20-minute drive away, with several excellent restaurants and shops, whilst the archaeological site of Nora is handy for a half-day visit.
