What We Think
This hotel is set in a rural idyll in vineyard country, just 15 minutes' drive from Alghero and the beach. It is an intimate hotel with just 22 rooms, and has a personal feel, with very friendly staff and some lovely touches in the grounds as well as a tasteful choice of décor and furniture in the rooms and the interior. The hotel is set in lovingly restored 17th century buildings, a mixture of renovated barns and stables and an old monastery. The rooms follow in this theme with comfortable and traditional furnishings, with the contemporary bathrooms providing an elegant counterpoint. The hotel restaurant enjoys a good reputation serving a mix of Sardinian and Italian cuisine, all utilising locally-grown produce. There is a spa on site with a massage room, Jacuzzi, small gym and steam room, and there is a pool in the hotel grounds. There are also tennis courts and bicycles to hire, not to mention horses on which you can explore the beautiful local countryside.
