Peacefully located in the rural outskirts of Alghero, Villa Sarda fulfils every requirement for a perfect family holiday: it has a large pool with plenty of sun loungers, huge grounds for kids to run around and a lovely shaded terrace complete with barbecue – this is the ideal setting for al fresco living! Inside, the accommodation is traditionally furnished with a certain rustic feel, yet it is well appointed and air-conditioned (bedrooms only). The property consists of a large open plan living/dining room and a well-equipped kitchen area downstairs, and three comfortable bedrooms on the upper floor with the benefit of a generously sized balcony overlooking the gardens and the surrounding countryside. There is an excellent agriturismo within walking distance, which serves delicious Sardinian specialities including suckling pig, a good selection of pastas and fine local wines. For a wider choice of amenities, Alghero’s town centre is only 15 minutes’ drive away with its fantastic array of restaurants, shops and bars. For the best beaches in the area, head for la Bombarde and Lazzaretto, both boasting superb views across
to Capo Caccia.
