Ground floor: large conservatory area, kitchen (oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher), large sitting room. Double bedroom, one twin bedroom which has a window to conservatory area (not external) and possibility of extra bed, two shower rooms. Spiral staircase up to first floor. First floor: Double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with hip bath and shower head.

Facilities:

Private pool (12m x 6m, depth 1.1m – 2.2m), barbecue, private tennis court, table tennis and table-football, satellite television, DVD player, washing machine, air-conditioning throughout the villa (payable locally 240€ per week), hairdryer.

The Casa Roberta is a large villa in large grounds and with loads for the kids to do. There’s even a mini farmyard with geese, chickens and a scruffy donkey. It’s also a very attractive proposition with huge cork oaks towering over lush lawns and flowering oleanders. I haven’t actually stayed here myself, but have it on good authority from a friend with a large family that it’s a great holiday home...

Villa Description

Set in two acres of land and surrounded by countryside swathed in miles of lush vineyards, Casa Roberta is a quiet retreat perfect for a relaxing holiday in the sun.

The grounds of the Casa Roberta are a real sight to behold with lush verdant lawns, towering pines and even a small farmyard with a population of goats, donkeys and birdlife. Due to the size of the grounds there is also ample scope for activites and the owners have made every effort to provide things to do – whatever your needs. So there is a large and well equipped swimming pool with steps leading to a generous shallow end and a diving board, a tennis court with floodlights at the back of the villa, a table tennis table, a sumptuous barbecue and terrace area for those long lunches and evening meals, and there are even some bikes to explore the local area. For the more adventurous, Alghero and the stunning beaches of the north west coast are only 5km away.

The inside of the property is cool and airy and also lovingly cared for with the sun-dappled conservatory the villa’s centrepiece; you’ll find this bouganvillea-draped room warm and inviting whatever the time of day. The kitchen area is well equipped and opens onto a large farmhouse style dining area with a long wooden table.

This villa is perfect for a larger group or for two families looking for a relaxing summer holiday in Sardinia.
