Casa Julia is a lovely villa with magnificent views from its covered terrace and pool area over gently sloping macchia-covered hills to the Mediterranean and Capo Caccia beyond. The private pool is built on a lower level than the main building and is the perfect place to relax under the Sardinian sun and drink in the amazing views across the water. There are a number of little hideaways around the pool where you can escape the sun for a time and still enjoy the views, and there is always the well furnished terrace with its long wooden table – perfect for long mealtimes and evening card games. You can also access a path, which leads down to the rocky shoreline and the cooling balm of the sea. The interior of the property, which opens out onto the covered terrace, is traditionally furnished and has air-conditioing in the main bedroom. The kitchen and lounge are set to an open plan design and the central feature is an ornate fireplace. The bedrooms follow this traditional feel and are bright and airy. If you can tear yourself away, Alghero is only moments away in the car with its charming harbourfront, bustling cobbled streets and wide array of bars and restaurants.
