You can find the nearest sandy beach a mere stroll away, but for those looking for a more “off-the-beaten-track” experience, there is a choice of unspoilt creeks dotted along the road towards Capo Ceraso – all with fabulous views across the islands of Tavolara and Molara and ample opportunities to swim in crystal clear waters. An excursion to the nearby islands also makes for an excellent day trip; there are regular boats leaving from Porto Istana.
