I really like Hotel La Rocca. I feel the room's have a lovely Sardinian decor, very light and airy, and have everything you need! I would definitely recommend to upgrade your room, the sea views are stunning! This hotel has a lovely atmosphere about it, with the tranquil gardens and relaxing pool area. Although the beach is only 800 meters away, take advantage of the shuttle service that the hotel provide, it is quick and very frequent, so you can reserve your sun lounger before it get's too busy!

Hotel Description

Set on the northern tip of the Costa Smeralda, this charming hotel boasts a delightful setting amongst luxuriant Mediterranean gardens – 15 minutes' walk from the sea and 2km away from the bustling resort of Baia Sardinia. With a laid-back ambience and extremely friendly staff, Hotel la Rocca would particularly appeal to couples seeking a relaxing break as well as comfortable accommodation. The hotel features a large fresh water swimming-pool and an excellent restaurant on site; and all rooms are tastefully furnished using a traditional Sardinian style complete with air-conditioning, satellite television and a balcony / terrace, some with distant sea views.

There is a free shuttle service from the hotel to the nearby Cala Ginepri beach, a section of which is dedicated to the use of the hotel’s guests with free sunbeds and umbrellas, a snack bar for light lunches and toilet facilities. The shuttle bus also takes guests to the resort of Baia Sardinia and its beach of Cala Battistoni – a spectacular stretch of fine white sand set against a backdrop of granite rocks and bordered by emerald shallow water. The resort offers a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants, and there are also a number of watersports opportunities including snorkelling and scuba diving.

Hotel la Rocca is ideally positioned for discovering the breathtaking scenery and the fabulous beaches of the North East of the island. For those who wish to go out and about and explore the local surroundings, we strongly suggest that you hire a car for a few days.
