La Mendula

La Mendula is new to our programme for 2010 and provides a great option for two families or groups of friends wishing to holiday together whilst retaining some privacy. The spacious grounds, swimming pool and terrace are shared whilst the villa is divided into two levels with separate entrances. Each level has a double and twin bedroom as well as a living/dining room with fireplace, kitchen and shower room. Both levels are furnished to a good standard although in our opinion the upper floor is slightly superior. Due to being partially below ground however, the lower floor does remain pleasantly cool in summer. There is a large area of grass to the side of the property, which again will particularly appeal to families with young children looking for space to play. The poolside terrace will be welcomed by parents wanting to relax in the sunshine and take in the stunning country views whilst the children enjoy a swim. For guests wanting to explore the region, there are beaches, shops and restaurants within 10 to 15 minute drive and there are a number of nearby attractions worth visiting. The area surrounding Arzachena is renowned for its archaeological sites and the village of San Pantaleo attracts many visitors for its character and its bustling atmosphere in the summer – all within easy reach.
