This hotel is great for families. I loved how they have a nursery area, which is open 24hrs if you need to heat baby’s milk during the night and kids clubs to occupy the kids during the day. The hotel has stunning views and most of all - after a whole day sunbathing you can chill out with a massage. The hotel has several different beaches to choose from so if you wanted to escape you can. I thought the hotel was perfect for a little getaway from it all.

Resort Valle dell’Erica is tucked away in one of the most beautiful corners of Sardinia and occupies a privileged site by the sea, facing the spectacular islands of la Maddalena. Set in extensive grounds, the hotel has perfectly blended its facilities and rooms with the natural surroundings – large Mediterranean gardens filled with scented herbs, time-sculpted granite rocks and a string of sandy beaches lapped by crystal blue waters, Resort Valle dell’Erica offers an oasis of tranquillity amid a truly stunning setting!

The hotel is slightly elevated and so enjoys spectacular vistas stretching from Corsica and the cliffs of Bonifacio on one side to the deserted island of Spargi on the other. The scenery is truly captivating and can be enjoyed from almost everywhere within the complex, whether you are on the breakfast terrace, lazing by the pool or even from your own room (most rooms have sea views – supplements apply).

Exclusive, informal and with a good range of facilities on site, the hotel is suitable for couples as well as families. There are excellent facilities for children including a mini-club, large play areas and a children’s swimming pool – don’t worry, everything has been thought out and most amenities for children are out of the way for adult guests to fully relax! The main pool (for adults only) has been beautifully designed in a perfect natural setting of granite rocks and totally connects with the sea beyond. If you prefer sand between your toes, there are five private beaches with easy walking distance of the hotel, three of each are equipped with sunbeds and beach umbrellas, and the other two remaining completely untouched.

Treat yourself and spend some time in the excellent Thalasso & Spa centre “le Thermae”. Modern and very well equipped with four outdoor multi-function pools, a number of treatment rooms, Turkish bath, sauna, relaxation area and cardio-fitness room, this well-being centre simply invites indulgence!

Rooms are well scattered within the grounds giving guests a feeling of privacy. They have been tastefully decorated in a Mediterranean style using pastel colours, traditional furniture, local handcrafts, and all have a terrace or balcony equipped with patio furniture.

If you wish to explore the environs, Porto Pozzo with its harbour, water-sports and shops is only 4km away and the fishing village of Santa Teresa di Gallura is also very accessible, 12km away. Alternatively, the hotel offers a good quota of excursions and activities for guests to discover Sardinia in all its splendor!
