Lu Lioni is a sumptuous treat – a large well-furnished family home with its own private pool and immaculately kept grounds. It is also close to the turquoise seas and golden beaches of the Costa Smeralda and to the town of Arzachena. The interior of the property is all mosaic stone floors and cool whitewashed walls; and the lounge/dining room in particular is a fine room with its large dining table, the soft furnishings of the enticing bar area and the large sliding doors which open out onto the grounds with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The kitchen here is also of a high standard and the bedrooms are well turned out. Beyond the sliding doors is a large covered patio area overlooking the swimming pool where you can take part in the Sardinian passion for long lunches and twilight evening meals.
The gardens at Lu Lioni are very well tended too and feature a mixture of mature holm, cork oaks, squat pines and lavishly verdant lawns. There are numerous places to sunbathe around the gardens, and of course there is the glorious pool at the centre of things with great views across the macchia-covered hills.
